Story from my personal blog on JT and the farm;

Come pick your own fresh anti-oxidant loaded juicy blueberries on the Lyon Blueberry farm this summer. Take a road trip to the beautiful largely untouched part of Shelby County, between Wilsonville and Columbiana, and be prepared to pick! (In other words, dress accordingly and keep an eye on your kids)

From Birmingham- take 280 south just past Westover to Hiway 55
Make a right at Shelby 55 and go about 7 miles to Shelby 40

At Shelby 40, make a Left and go around 1 mile to Shelby 61

At Shelby 61 go short distance to Shelby 56

At Shelby 56 make a Left and go about 3/4 mile.....THE LYON BLUEBERRY SIGN IS ON RIGHT...follow the dirt drive to the Blueberries, blackberries, boxwoods and other vegies...
